When you press the home button the App is still running in the background. When you click its icon the app is brought to front, but doesen't restart. Sometimes an app has a problem and needs to restartet. In this case try this:
- If you are in the app, press the home button to go back to the home screen
- Double click the home button
- Now you see a list of running apps of the screen
iOS 6 and lower:
- Touch and hold one of the apps, after some seconds the icons "dance"
- The dancing icons have a little "-" in the corner
- Click on the "-" of the app you want to stop
iOS 7 and newer:
- Swipe the app out of the top of the screen
- Press the home button to go back to the home screen
You can also simply switch your phone off and on. This stops all apps at once.

Wenn Sie den Home-Knopf drücken wird die laufende App in den Hintergrund gelegt. Sie läuft aber weiter. Wenn nun das Symbol geklickt wird, kommt die Anwendung wieder in den Vordergrund, sie wird aber nicht wirklich neu gestartet. Manchmal ist das aber bei einem Problem der App notwendig. Um die App wirklich zu beenden gehen Sie bitte wie folgt vor:
- Falls Sie in der App sind, drücken Sie einmal den Home-Button, um zum Home-Bildschirm zu gelangen
- Drücken Sie zweimal schnell hintereinander den Home-Button
- Nun sehen Sie eine Liste der laufenden Anwendungen
iOS 6 und früher:
- Halten Sie dort den Finger einige Sekunden auf einer App gedrückt und die Anwendungen fangen an zu "tanzen
- Jetzt können Sie auf dem kleinen "-" die App beenden
iOS ab 7:
- Wischen Sie die App nach oben aus dem Bildschirm
- Drücken Sie den Home-Button um zum Home-Bildschirm zurück zu kehren
Sie können auch einfach das Gerät aus- und wieder anschalten. Dadurch werden alle Apps beendet.
